In between game drives (during the heat of the day when all the lions are snoozing) you'll have plenty of time to chill out and enjoy the sun and the beautiful lodge at @baobab_ridge . . For optimal results set the shutter speed a touch lower to capture as much colour as possible and play with an editing software such as lightroom to try to enhance the colours.   • Five minutes before this moment I had been face to face with a pride of nine lions 🦁 thankfully still in the jeep at that time! Seeing these amazing animals in the wild is an experience I'll never forget. . . Our guide, David, tracked these lions for an hour, finding trails of the pride hunting a buffalo but luckily for the buffalo they failed to make a kill. Also luckily for us all this running about meant the lions were all snoozing in the sunshine ready to be spotted 💤 📍@baobab_ridge , Kruger . . It’s definitely worth the small additional fee, you'll learn so much more about the temple and they know all the best insta spots. TRAVEL TIP: If you manage to tear yourself away from the stunning views of Lake Windermere, you should head North of Ambleside to the quaint village of Grasmere and it's stunning surroundings. Meander into the village from the car park along the riverside path and over this cute bridge.
