Getting here

Multiple European budget airlines operate routes to Toulouse including from London and Frankfurt. Toulouse International Airport is located a short drive away from the city centre, with a handy shuttle bus operating every 20 minutes. From within France you can catch the train easily from major cities - Paris (6 hours), Bordeaux (2 hours) and Marseille (4 hours).

Stay

Majority of the hotels in Toulouse are located a very short walk from the Place du Capitole, right in the centre of the ‘pink city’. There are plenty of lovely boutique hotels to choose from including Villa du Taur and Hotel des Beaux Arts, both strongly influenced by the art world.

Eat

The most popular dish is Toulouse is cassoulet which you can find in every French bistro in town. Explore the local markets for traditional produce or for a fresh twist on French cuisine head to Le Murano run by famous chef Valentin Neraudeau. To satisfy your sweet tooth head to L’Autre Salon de The for the perfect tea break.

Drink

When in France wine is the only thing you should be drinking! Voted the best wine bar in the world, no visit to Toulouse is complete without tasting some of N5’s 300 wines by the glass.

See & Do

Toulouse is a lovely picturesque city and with everything in walking distance the best way to see the sights is to get those steps in. From the banks of the Garonne to the beautiful architecture of Couvent des Jacobins there’s plenty to see outdoors; and if it does happen to rain take shelter in one of Toulouse’s many interesting museums.
